Meet Dr. Sara Salsbery
Dr. Salsbery is a Naturopathic Doctor originally from coastal North Carolina and spent most of her childhood covered in sand and saltwater. Her love of natural medicine started at a very young age and was nurtured by her mother, a chiropractor, who stressed the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle. Dr. Salsbery received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University in Tempe, AZ with honors in Nature Cure Medicine. She also completed a one-year family medicine residency with a special interest in women’s health and hormones at Salus Integrative Medicine in Paso Robles, CA. She is currently registered in Colorado and is also licensed in California.
Dr. Salsbery is passionate about women’s health at all stages of life including hormonal concerns, fertility counseling, prenatal support, postpartum care, and menopause. In addition, Dr. Salsbery’s interests also include children’s health, GI concerns, thyroid disorders, adrenal dysfunction, and autoimmune diseases.
She has a special place in her heart for women in the grips of motherhood and those trying to conceive. She is a firm believer that her own struggles with irregular periods, acne, PCOS, infertility, postpartum anxiety, and gut dysbiosis give her a refreshingly real and honest perspective on feeling like your body is a constant battleground and how to heal it from within.
